Are You Getting Tired of These Pictures of PIQ ?
I still can't believe how many pictures I took at Pacific International last Friday.......I keep editing them and it seems there is no end.Don't you just love this cat quilt.......love those blue eyes. An elephant......looking straight at you. Look at the texture in this quilt......unbelievable.I do believe this elephant is painted on the background. Detail of the tusk. Look at the eye......there is wisdom in that eye.. A different cat quilt......not a lot of color but it works. This is a very different quilt......check out the detail picture below. Looks like lace.......beautiful. I really love this rich looking quilt......you have to look very close to see the seams that make this design. It glows with rich color. Mushrooms, love to eat mushrooms....but look at the little mouse......he's so cute. Oh...there are two in this picture.....look at the yellow leaves. Close up of the mouse......I don't like these small rodents in real life....one ran up my leg once and I did a wild dance trying to get my pants off......but this make believe mouse is cute. I think this bird was also in the quilt with the mouse but I'm not sure......but it is cool. Another bright flower quilt......love bright quilts. Close up of the bright flowers.....beautiful.
I really enjoyed looking at your quilt show pictures. I have the fabric in the purple quilt on this post - it looks like kaleidoscope blocks, and I too am making a stack and whack kaleidoscope blocks out of them. I just need to put them together.
I am a quilter. The grandaughter of a dairyman. I was married to a dairyman but am now divorced and have a daughter. I work for a dairy trade group. Love cows and the country life. I was born here in the big valley and have never lived more then 15 miles away from where I was born. I buy way too much fabric, patterns and quilting books, belong to two quilt guilds and will never have enough time to finish all the projects I want to do.
