I have one block all sewn together......YEA!!!!! 19 more to go.....I have until the 24th to get the whole top done so I can take it to Quilters Cabin and the quilter coming to the shop can vote for their favorite quilt. So do you like it?? Leave a comment below and let me know. It's a very different quilt for me to make.
I picked different colors....all batiks.....one note...love using batik because there is no wrong side to the fabric.....so no un-sewing because you sewed the wrong side to the right side.

I like the earthy colours and I can't wait to see the final project. (:
Not only do I love star block quilts, but those are some of my favorite colors in there.
This will be a beauty.
I think this is lovely. I usually want more contrast in my blocks, but this has a nice glow to it and I think it really works.
I like the green and browns together it is truly rich. I just cant imagine doing 20 blocks with 85 pieces in each block. You go girl. See ya tuesday. LA
