WIP Wednesday
Spent last night cutting up my strip sets for the mystery quilt class that Debi taught last year in April of 2006. Below are the blocks that are all done.....four blocks across and six down. I will take this to the retreat with me to finish. Its going to be a bright quilt.
Sandy brought this quilt top to show us.......I love black and red....cool quilt. She got the kit from Sweet Treats. Close up of Sandy's quilt. Liz W. came last night and laid out her butterfly quilt that she is making for a grand daughter. Its going to be a cool quilt. Close up of the butterfly's with button hole applique. In yesterday's comments Dianah kind of had it right......only it's a vest....not a jacket.
I am a quilter. The grandaughter of a dairyman. I was married to a dairyman but am now divorced and have a daughter. I work for a dairy trade group. Love cows and the country life. I was born here in the big valley and have never lived more then 15 miles away from where I was born. I buy way too much fabric, patterns and quilting books, belong to two quilt guilds and will never have enough time to finish all the projects I want to do.

So how many projects are you going to finish on your retreat? How long are you going to be gone?

Sandy's pattern is called Shake It Up from Pincushion. I just found mine.
