I only had 8 blocks sewn when I left on the retreat. I had the rest of the blocks cut and ready to be sewn. I finished sewing the blocks......sewed them together and then added the black stopper border. Last night I sewed all the piano keys together for the final border then sewed on the top and bottom border.....just have to sew on the side borders.
The is the X block quilt......I added more blocks to make it bigger and then added two borders. Just need backing fabric and then off to be quilted.
I had this lap quilt all cut out......I sewed it together and added a border. I want to get a dark green flannel and add another border.
Made two pillow cases......for a little boy who will be three in October.
These blocks are not mine......LuAnne made these blue mumbo gumbo blocks.....she's new to quilting and doing a wonderful job. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

That retreat looks like a lot of fun - and my you certainly accomplished quite a bit didn't you? I like all of the quilts you made, especially the first one. I've been meaning to make a trip around the world quilt like the second photo for a while - there are just so many quilts to make! That mumbo jumbo quilt looks really great. Another quilt to add to the list.
