Tuesday night at the library
We all love batik's......and how about a batik made out of flannel......soft and beautiful. Sandy made this quilt and layered it on the floor......when she was done I took this picture.Dianah made this quilt as a sample for a class she's going to teach at Lady Bug Quilts in Manteca. The pattern is from the Threaded Pear Studio...web site here. She said it sews up fast and makes a quick and easy baby quilt. Liz is finishing up her fall table topper.....she's working on the quilting. Lue-Anne is working on a fall table runner......here you see her laying it out on one of the large tables at the library. She's using raw edge applique.....and fusing the leaves on the block. I have never seen this baby fabric......it's so cute. What a cute baby quilt! Close up of one of the blocks on the quilt.....love the look on the baby's face.....I need to find some of this fabric!

There is a book that came out before the material was printed called "Peek-a-Boo Crib Set" by Amy Bradley Designs. The quilt looks just like the fabirc only all the heads, arms and stuff are appliqued on. It looked really neat when I first saw it maybe 2 years ago. Love your pictures. They have inspired me to make many quilts.
I am a quilter. The grandaughter of a dairyman. I was married to a dairyman but am now divorced and have a daughter. I work for a dairy trade group. Love cows and the country life. I was born here in the big valley and have never lived more then 15 miles away from where I was born. I buy way too much fabric, patterns and quilting books, belong to two quilt guilds and will never have enough time to finish all the projects I want to do.
