Joan's Finished Pillow

Happy....Happy Monday ! It's June already! Where did May go? Where did the weekend go....I didn't get anything done....I have loads to do as my Presidents challenge from the Oakdale guild is due on June 14. I must get busy tonight and keep working on it till its done. Don't worry I will take pictures as I work on it and will share later.

Below you see Joan's pillow from her class with Sandra M in April. How does she get sooo much done so fast? I took this picture at last Tuesday's night sew. What a beautiful pillow.....I wouldn't want anyone putting their back against it.....way to special.



Here is a close up of a section of Joan's pillow. The flowers are made with wide silk ribbon.....that's why they look so beautiful.

I came home yesterday and on my answer machine was a message from Pat K......telling me I won the quilt that was raffled off at her church. I won a quilt !!!! I bought tickets from her and she bought tickets from me for the quilt that my Oakdale guild will be raffling off at our quilt show June 16 and 17. She told me since I won....she needs to win when we draw for the quilt at the show. Good luck Pat! I will take a picture and post it when I get the quilt I won. Its lap sized and since I sleep in a twin bed that is the size I use the most.
