Last Night's Tuesday Sew
Last night at our Tuesday night sew we had quite a few people. We were either cutting out fabric or hand sewing. This is Amber who is a junior member of Manteca Quilters and she is working on a philanthropy quilt.. Here it is spread out on the table and Amber is tying it . Good job Amber.
See the close up of Amber's quilt.....love all the different fabric used in this quilt. Deb Pots does such a good job of making the kits we then sew together for philanthropy.
This picture shows the red fabric scraps I'm cutting for a new quilting project. The cutting goes fast when you are surrounded by quilting friends and talking and laughing together. Come join us on Tuesday night at Manteca library.
I am a quilter. The grandaughter of a dairyman. I was married to a dairyman but am now divorced and have a daughter. I work for a dairy trade group. Love cows and the country life. I was born here in the big valley and have never lived more then 15 miles away from where I was born. I buy way too much fabric, patterns and quilting books, belong to two quilt guilds and will never have enough time to finish all the projects I want to do.

Congratulations on the engagement. The Tuesday night sew looks like a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing what you do with the red fabrics.
