Manteca Quilt Show

The 2007 Manteca Quilt Show is over. I had a very busy weekend. Lots of people attended and all said they enjoyed the show. The quilt below was voted Viewers Choice, Quilt You'd Like To Own and I can't remember the third ribbon it won but on Sunday had three first place ribbons on it. A beautiful quilt. Lots of hand applique and the machine quilting was very well done. Below is a close up of the center of the quilt and shows the machine quilting detail.
The Chicken quilt won Viewers Choice for best wall hanging. The close up below shows the wonderful applique work......the choice of fabric and colors in this quilt is beautiful.
The whole wall hanging picture didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. Its a little dark on the left hand side. This is a very beautiful quilt and machine quilted by the quilter, Sandi who is a expert at applique.
