There was not a lot of people sewing at the workshop on Saturday but the one's who were there got lots done and had fun. Here is a picture of my 301a all set up and ready to sew.
I managed to sew 8 premie blankets by lunch and spent the afternoon sewing together some nine patch blocks set with off white solid blocks to make a lap quilt for someone in the nursing home. I really feel like I got lots done and my sewing will go to help very little babies and older people who need a warm quilt to keep them warm.
The second picture is of three of our members cutting out hospice gowns. They managed to get quite a few cut out and will take them to the Tuesday morning group and give to members to sew together.
